Hi all,
Today was more of conceptual learning as the children needed
a little brush up on the basic percentage and measurement concepts in Math. So
a mini- workshop on math concepts was conducted so we could kick-start our critical
analysis of data which will involve these concepts.
We started off with concepts, then a few examples which
eventually led to making real world connections. Finally we used few worksheets
to check our understanding.
Children also made it a point to check the quantity of the food wasted by themselves which gave them the exposure they needed and it was hands-on too especially after the workshop.
